Travel Cinema Official is an upcoming Travel-Based YouTube channel that blends cinematic storytelling with adventurous exploration. This website serves as both a brand hub and a merchandise store, designed to emotionally engage fans, showcase immersive travel content, and drive product sales. The site is mobile-responsive, visually cinematic, and structured for usability, featuring a homepage, integrated YouTube playlists, a merchandise store inspired by travel episodes, blog stories, and community-driven engagement tools.

Business Development Manager (YouTube Merchandise) – Female

Position Title: Business Development Manager (6 months Contractual Post & to be extended further on successful completion of Contractual Period)
Reporting To: Founder / Operations Head
No. of Working Days: 14 days; (10 Days in Shillong & outskirts of Shillong & 4 Days in other district of Meghalaya (excluding Garo Hills)
Location: Requires frequent travelling (for vendor/partner with retailers to various popular & offbeat tourist destinations across Meghalaya) Remuneration: ₹10,000 per month + travel allowance (during 6 months contractual period); & Upto ₹12,500/- OR  ₹15,000/- (after successful completion of contract period).


Role Overview:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for presenting advertisement reels about our products on Instagram & YouTube Shorts. Travelling to tourist & non tourist destinations. To drive revenue sales, finding new retail channels, establishing partnerships with vendors/outlets and expanding the merchandise brand into untapped markets both online and offline.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To drive revenue sales, finding new retail channels, establish partnerships with vendors/outlets & expand our merchandise products in the local market.
  • Creating Reel & Shorts on Instagram & YouTube respectively.
  • Frequent travelling to tourist & non tourist destinations in Shillong, Its outskirts & other districts across Meghalaya
  • Identify and establish B2B partnerships (retail outlets, pop-up stores, college fests, YouTube events).
  • Build strategic alliances with e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho) and fashion aggregators.
  • Negotiate with manufacturers, printers, and logistics vendors to optimize cost and efficiency.
  • Represent the organization in any events or workshops & others
  • Develop monthly/quarterly sales forecasts and strategic roadmaps.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking with business acumen.
  • Strong understanding of fashion/merchandise industry and digital creator economy.
  • Ability to develop proposals, pitch products, and achieve monthly targets.
  • Networking capabilities across retail, e-commerce, and influencer sectors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s | Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Marketing, Social Work or a related field.
  • Having experience in business development or sales (preferable) | Freshers can also apply.
  • Knowledge in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Video Editing or AI tools
